Using the Aircraft editor select 'Add new aircraft from template' and you will find the FF listed.Ī template applies pre-defined values to a performance file which was not specified in this instance. Awesome Ill take a look for it I searched there previously but couldnt find a 748 profile must have missed it. The FlightFactor template file should be placed in the AircraftTemplates folder.ĭownload the Airbus 320-214 performance file from AirlinerPerformance and place that in AircraftTypes. Hint: To find his among the hundreds listed simply sort by number of downloads. I'm confused about the extensions on that folder witch are. A sample Flight Briefing Package can be downloaded here. Regular navigation database updates are available for realistic route planning. An open source file format allows simple creation of new aircraft types.
On the 'installation' I can't find any relative info too. PFPX comes with a large aircraft database ranging from Airbus and Boeing types to smaller airplanes like Citation and Cirrus. I've downloaded a few performance files from and place them on AircraftTypes folder also, and I can't use them, I can't find them on the Aircfat Editor. The file is incorrectly named a template when it is actually a performance/profile file. In PFPX I open the aircraft editor and I can't find it anyware, chosing 'add new.' or 'add new from template.' The correct location is: C:UsersPublicDocumentsPFPX DataAircraftTypes. I've downloaded it and place it on 'AircraftTypes' folder.
I'm trying to add a new aircraft registration, using FF A320 profile shared in this thread.
